Al Shoaiba SWCC Mina-Quiza Pumping Station
The Shoaiba Desalination Plant is one of the largest of its kind in the world. Aside from the desalination facility itself, the project also consists of storage tanks, pumping stations and pipelines to transport the product water. Following a fire at the Mina-Quiza pumping station in its main 13.8kV switchgear, Saline Water Conversion Corporation commissioned DAR to to conduct extensive analysis of the root causes of the event to prevent future repeat occurances.
