EEHC Distribution Control Centers (DCC)
The Egyptian Electricity Holding Company is a state-owned company for electrical power generation, transmission and distribution in Egypt. As part of their ongoing efforts to expand and optimize their network operations in the Greater Cairo region, they commissioned DAR to provide consultancy services for the design and construction of two new distribution and control centers (DCCs)in the region.

The project was underpinned by the objective of establishing full-scale state-of-the-art supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA), distribution management (DMS), remote terminal unit (RTU) and communication systems within the planned centers to monitor and control distribution points (DPs) and medium voltage kiosks in a safe and reliable manner.
DAR's scope of service includes supporting the entire tendering process through to construction supervision and included civil, electromechanical, HVAC, lighting, firefighting and grounding works to renovate existing DCC facilities.
