As part of their mission to improve the provision of specialist reproductive and child healthcare services locally, Zambia's Ministry of Healthcare has invested US$126 million in partnership with the Saudi Fund for Development, to develop a 800 bed hospital in its capital Lusaka.

The 68,500sqm facility includes a children’s hospital, laboratories, multi-purpose rooms, waiting rooms, intensive care units, operating rooms, pharmacies, and parking lots, among other features. DAR was commissioned to provide complete engineering design services and detailed architectural, interior, landscape, and life safety design. Our experts were also appointed to plan and support the procurement of medical equipment before managing the project's construction.
