Medical Spine Colleges at Umm Al Qura University
The University of Umm Al Qura in Makkah, is a prominent establishment in the kingdom, providing a range of research and field studies for over seventy years and now serving over 100,000 students. In its efforts to grow the reputation of its international graduate medical training program and health services, the university commissioned DAR to provide a range of design solutions for the establishment of four new colleges and a support building at the campus.

DAR provided full design and engineering services to establish plans for new colleges of medicine, dentistry, community health & environment and nursing at the university, as well as an allied Building, cafe, library, classrooms, conference Hall, animal House, sports center, green house Car and car parks. Our expert team created the overall master plan for the facility, as well as architectural and interior design for each of the facilities which span a site area of 950,000sqm and built-up area of 1.5 million sqm. Our scope of service also includes structural and MEP engineering of the facilities and medical equipment planning services to support each college's desired functions.
