Riyadh Metro
The Riyadh Metro is one of the world's largest metro projects, spanning 176km with six lines and 85 stations, including underground, elevated and at-grade sections. DAR was commissioned by Saudi Electricity Company to provide a range of design and engineering services to support the implementation new BSP substations to power the metro to completion.

A significant challenge in this project was the stringent time frame set by the Riyadh Metro Authority to commission the substations within 20 months. DAR was able to harness resources in various disciplines to execute the project via a fast-track schedule to assist the client to achieve their goals ahead of the project schedule.
