As part of the organization's continued growth plans and ambition to extend its services to support increasing amounts of patients, SMC commissioned DAR to develop the design of its second hospital on Riyadh's Northern Ring Road. The hospital was delivered in two distinct phases with each phase creating capacity for 150 beds until the completion of the 300-bed facility inclusive of specialist clinics, emergency department, laboratories, a pharmacy and ancillary services.
DAR's scope of service was complete design of the 78,000sqm facility which sits on a plot of 9,600sqm, providing concepts for its detailed architectural, interior and landscape design, as well as structural, MEP engineering services. Our expert team also provided the client with a range of cost, life safety and technical advisory services.
