Veterinary Teaching Hospital
King Faisal University was founded in 1975 and is one of the oldest public universities in Saudi Arabia. In order to build on the university's specialised veterinary prowess, with the support of the Ministry of Higher Education, commissioned DAR to provide design and engineering services for a new US$16 million teaching hospital in Al-Ahsa.

The 55,167sqm hospital building sits as a standalone structure from the main campus and consists of specialized units, outpatient clinics, stockyards, a pharmacy, check-up areas, classrooms, and parking.
